 I started Osiris Cleaning in 2015, relocated to Texas in 2017 for the birth of a grandchild and tried to expand to Florida in 2020. I have always been a hands-on owner with my businesses marketing. When I first started out, I purchased leads from sources like Angie’s List, Home Advisor, and Thumbtack. I learned very quickly that this was an expensive way of doing business, so I began looking for other options. I signed up with a SEO (Search Engine Optimization) company who did not fulfill their promises to me, so I quickly moved on.
 
Over time I researched marketing on my own, I wanted to know what I really needed and what was garbage. After months of research, I began searching for a SEO company that focused on Organic Marketing. There are various reasons that someone would want to focus on organic traffic such as lower cost per conversion and it’s also a reflection of brand.
 
Over time I experimented with various marketing strategies, some paid, some unpaid. I got to learn what worked, what was ok, what wasn’t for me, etc. For 6 years I drank my own cool-aid and had excellent success. I learned what marketing strategies worked for me, including the reasoning for each strategy. The marketing agencies out there want to make everything cookie cutter, as if one size fits all, I have always seen this as a flaw in most marketing agencies. I think focusing on a businesses uniqueness and individuality is more effective than making them look like every other business out there.
 



During the last couple years of Osiris Cleaning, I marketed consistently using video. I learned the importance of video because some of the best paid advertising I’ve used has been video. I uploaded every video I did to my YouTube channel which I’ve deleted as of August 1, 2021. I produced and edited all my videos using various products from the Adobe Creative Cloud such as Premier Pro, Spark, Audition, etc.
 
What drove me to producing my own video content for my marketing strategies is the pandemic. During the first summer of the pandemic, I began offering new services with the anticipated changes post pandemic. I began making commercial video ads for YouTube using my own creative ideas. When the end of summer came, I was getting great results from my campaigns. That was when we had to slow down until we could find employees for new contracts. Most people say this is a problem they wish they had.
 



As a former business owner, I understand the limitations of being just one person. As a small business owner, I understand the challenges of finding competent marketing companies. I think every business owner would jump at a chance to have another small business owner from outside of the marketing industry provide their marketing content over a company with blinders on.
 
I think the most important thing for every business to do is have as much video content in their marketing wheelhouse as possible. As time goes along, people’s attention spans shorten, being able to communicate your message effectively is important and video offers that. When customers click on your website link from your GMB (Google My Business) profile or an organic search, they want to know ASAP if what you offer will solve their problem. Video is the quickest and most efficient form to do this, however this is not the only use for video.
 
As part of my production service, I offer an organic hybrid marketing package for those seeking a one stop shop for their marketing needs. I will be able to work with a client’s SEO to ensure we don’t interfere with each other and as a team to provide an extremely effective marketing strategy making sure each client has left no stone unturned.
